What sort of property is it?

It’s a traditional 3 bedroom detached property with the following: Newly fitted kitchen, large lounge/dining room, large sunken patio with chimney BBQ and patio furniture, with grassed area to rear.

Sleeping accommodation is made up as follows: off the kitchen is bedroom one which consists of a double bed. Going upstairs there is a further 2 bedrooms one with two single beds the other the master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. There is also a further communal bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. There is the large mezzanine (landing) this has a double sofa bed and can sleep a further 2 (not recommended for young children).

What facilities does it have?

The property has a wood burning stove in the lounge, and is double-glazed through out. A midi hi-fi, television and VCR with a video library are provided for your entertainment. There is also a selection of games and books available.

A microwave, electric oven, gas hob, full size fridge with freezer, sink and coffee maker, make cooking local produce an enjoyable experience. There is also a washing machine, ironing board and iron. A cot and high chair can be provided on request. The property is fully equipped (unlike some self catering properties) and has ample off road parking for up to 3 cars.

Our parents will ensure you are comfortable and “at home” before leaving you in peace to enjoy your vacation.

What’s included?

Electricity, gas, water are included in the price. If you would like a log fire there are logs available at the property. Please leave a small contribution with our parents, to cover the cost of replacing them. All bedding is included however please supply your own towels

Where to find it?

KER SARAH is situated in the village of PLUDUNO in the region of COTES-D’ARMOUR.
It is approximately 30 minutes drive from its closest port St MALO or 2 hours drive from either CAEN or CHERBOURG. The local airport of DINARD is 20 minutes drive. Flights are daily from LUTON airport.

Sustenance

There are two large supermarkets within 2 miles of your home either "SUPER U" or "LIDL" situated in the town of PLANCOET. If you like fish, Super U is a must. In our opinion it has the best fish counter of all, but don’t take our word for it - shop around. The local boulangerie is at the top of the road for your fresh breakfast croissant.
We can provide a welcome pack of provisions that includes freshly baked bread, local butter, jam coffee, milk. (Advance notification required)

Eating out

There are lots of places to eat out. The ones we have tried all serve good quality food. LE CHATEAUBRIAND restaurant- pizzeria in PLANCOET serves great food covering steak, pizza, pasta and fish dishes, this is also open lunch times and offers a good value set menu, the normal menu choice is also available.

If you want that something a little special you must try LE SAINT-LOUIS restaurant in DINAN, be warned the patisseries buffets are to die for. A fuller list of the many places we recommend to eat is held in the information folder which we keep at KER SARAH.

Spending money and having fun

There are many ways to spend your money and have fun in Brittany. The walled city of St MALO is a must, have a look around the many shops and while there why not stop for a spot of lunch at the many restaurants or get a toasted Baguette and eat on the beach. Visit the Second World War gun emplacements you can even take a guided tour. You also have Le Grand Aquarium. There are many large supermarkets in the area all offering a huge range of goods. Visit the many town markets and sample the fresh local produce. There is horse riding and go carting. There are many great beaches just a short drive away a different beach for each day maybe! Or for something different why not take a day trip to Jersey by boat.

We do not load prices during school holidays like other rental properties. Out off season we can offer long stays at a reduced price (depending on availability and duration)

How to book & pay:

You can check on availability by either calling us or e-mailing us on the details below.

A booking request which is made will be held for a period of 5 days pending receipt of deposit. If deposit is not received within that time the booking will be re-released for availability

You can either pay a deposit of £100 to secure your booking or the full amount. Once payment has been received and confirmed your booking is guaranteed. Please note a £50 refundable security/damages deposit is payable with your full payment which must be received 9 weeks prior to departure.
The security/damages deposit will be refunded to you on your return once our agents have checked the property.

Please note that an additional charge of £25.00 will be deducted from your security deposit if the property is not left in the condition it was found in on your arrival.

If paying by cheque please make it payable to MRS ALBROW, deposit is
non-refundable.
