The house, built in the 17th century, is conveniently situated in the heart of the village.
There is a large garden and terrace (300m2) which is entirely enclosed with a stonewall fence (not adjoining to the house), which is located within fifty meters on the other side of the square and is accessed by a small side street. This garden will guarantee you tranquility and peace for your sunbathing and barbecues and is equipped with a small shed, garden furniture, lounge chairs for a perfect suntan and barbecue.
Ground Floor
The living room has a fireplace, bar, television, hifi & bookcase and is decorated with old-fashioned working tools.
1st floor
The large french kitchen decorated in the provincial style is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, etc...
There is a very large main bedroom with double bed, armchair, wardrobe and decorated fireplace.
The beautiful fully tiled bathroom is equipped with shower, wash basin and electric towel dryer.
2nd floor
Bedroom with twin beds and bathroom.
Situated in the Poitou region, bordering the Touraine and Berry, Angles sur l'Anglin with its natural site is one of the most beautiful villages of France. This village, born on the cliffs of the valley of l'Anglin has many advantages that guarantees its originality and interest. It will interest lovers of history and prehistory as well as walkers and hikers.
The ruins of its XIIth century castle which are perched on a rock, are not the only features of historic interest. It is also possible to discover a rich prehistoric past in the area.
Local traditions have been maintained through introductory courses and exhibitions, known as "jours d'angles" which have continued for more than a century.
As soon as summer starts, the city of Angles sur l'Anglin gets carried away with its festivities and features many activities including the famous handicraft days and magnificient firework displays.
