Set amongst the vineyards
of St. Pantaleon Les Vignes between the Rhone Valley and the foothills
of the alps this stone built farmhouse has been carefully restored by
its owners Philip and his wife Claudie - not forgetting the help of the
two boys!
There is private parking
and a lawned garden surrounding a 11 meter swimming pool and spa which
has now been covered with a large conservatory.
Fitness machines are available
for the energetic or just to work off the few pounds gained after aperitifs
and dinner cooked by your host Philip, who trained as a chef at the Gleneagles
hotel (Scotland), London and Vienna before moving to Provence with his
french wife.

and French.

Chambres d'hote
The Bedrooms have a double
bed and private bathroom, are light and sunny and overlook the garden
and the surrounding country side. An extra single bed is available on
request.
This regions specialities are Lamb with
garlic and rosemary , Hot goat cheese salads , olives and olive oils and
the famous Truffle from near by Richerenches not forgetting the many wines
of this Region.
Vegetarian Meals are available on request.

Gite
A self contained one bedroom
gite which can sleep a family of four is light and airy in a southerly
position overlooking the garden and pool with open plan american style
kitchen and confortable living area and private bathroom.

The local market town of Nyons nestles
at the junction of three valleys and is just a short ten minutes drive
from the house.
This colourful market town has two museums
one on the olive and the other on motor bikes as well as old lavender
stills and working olive presses,
whilst not forgetting its importance to the ancient history of the Romans.
The local market is on thursday morning,
not to be missed for its local produce of fresh fruit and vegetables,asparagus,
wild mushrooms, fresh herbs etc: and all the provençale handicrafts
of this sunny region of Provence.
