Situated just 2 minutes stroll from the beach, these two recently renovated cottages can provide versatile accommodation for up to 4 adults and 2 children in the two cottages, or they can be booked separately.

The village centre is a short walk away and provides a range of shops, bars and restaurants and a wonderful market on Friday mornings (in season).

Ideally positioned for a carefree break in this popular spot.

The two cottages share a garden but are independent of each other.

Tom Thumb Cottage -

aptly named as it is a small stone fisherman's cottage providing a downstairs bedroom with en-suite shower/toilet (and just enough room for a cot if needed) with an outside staircase leading to a living room/kitchen.

You can even glimpse the sea from the top of the stairs!

All newly renovated and equipped for a casual holiday.

Maison St Jacques -

26 Rue des Sciaux, St Jacut de la Mer

This is the largest of the cottages. It is a good sized old fisherman’s cottage typical of the region with a modern touch. Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms one double and one twin, we can provide an additional put-you-up for a 5th guest. There’s also a cot if needed. Both bedrooms have vanity units with washbasins.

Downstairs is the shower room/toilet, semi-fitted kitchen with a double bowl sink unit and cupboards, cooker, and microwave/grill is provided. At the front of the house is the sunny lounge with dining table and easy chairs.
Like so many of these quaint cottages it does not have its own garden so shares the small garden with the other 2 cottages.

It is a comfortable holiday home that has a wonderful position here in St Jacut just 2 minutes from the sea and the main street with shops, bars and restaurants.

Camelia Cottage -

Accommodation here is larger, consisting of a good sized living room/kitchen equipped with cooker, fridge etc. This room opens directly on to the garden through large french doors. There's a WC/ shower room and a large bedroom with 1 double and 2 single beds or the cot.

Both properties are great for an off season holiday and out of July/August we let for short breaks (minimum 3 nights).

With daily flights from Stansted to Dinard and with the airport being closeby this is ideal for a "get away break".

Linen and towels are provided. The two properties have access to the washing machine and drier under the outside staircase.

The shared garden faces south so its sun from dawn to dusk and the are plenty of chairs and tables. The garden is enclosed by a wall providing safety for children but is not suitable for ball games - although the beach nearby is!

St Jacut is a wonderful spot and as it is a peninsular there are 10 beaches to choose from! All can be reached from the coastal walk around the peninsular. At low tide the offshore islands become isolated and you can wander out and explore.

The sea here is very clean - proved by the mussels farmed locally. At low tide you can watch the tractors go out to the poles to harvest them. There is always something to see and do and there's a beach bar from which to enjoy the view!

Dinard and St Cast, both larger traditional seaside towns are about 9 miles away. St Malo, about 12 miles away is a fascinating place with and old walled city and port. There is a daily ferry service here from Portsmouth and a twice daily fast service from Poole.

Dinan is a maze of old cobbled streets with fascinating buildings and also a river port and a wonderful walk on the ramparts.

The coast in this area offers miles of clean, safe bathing plus some spectacular scenery as with the cliffs at Cap Fehrel and Fort la Latte.

Linen provided. Towels sets can be hired at 5 Euros per set. Prices in Pounds Sterling per week.

Mountain bike hire £10 per week. Changeover day Saturday. £100 deposit required with booking form.
