Situated in the heart of the luscious Dordogne Valley, the 17th century stone manor and gites are ideally placed for visits to all the attractions that South West France has to offer. Rich in history, from the pre-historic decorated caves to the medieval bastide towns, the Dordogne is also a gourmands heartland.

Domaine des Blanches Colombes offers guests either self catering or bed and breakfast. Decorated to a high standard and fully equipped, our emphasis is on comfort and style.

Ideal for summer holidays and weekend breaks Domaine des Blanches Colombes is open all year round. The large swimming pool is heated from April through to October. We will make your stay perfect, nothing is too much trouble for our guests.

 

 
   
Degas (One Bedroom) - a cosy hideway for couples. Degas has a fitted kitchen, open plan plan dining and sitting area, one bedroom with double bed and a bathroom. It is situated just across the road to Domaine des Blanches Colombes so can benefit from all the facilities on offer - including heated swimming pool and the games barn.
Matisse (Two Bedroom) - is full of character and delightfully decorated. It has a fitted kitchen, open plan plan dining and sitting area, two bedroom, one with a double bed second with twin. There is a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate loo. It is situated just across the road to Domaine des Blanches Colombes so can benefit from all the facilities on offer - including heated swimming pool and the games barn.
Renoir (The Barn) - Sleeps 6-8 Large stone barn with open plan dining and sitting area along with a fitted kitchen. Relaxing and spacious the barn has three double bedrooms with two bathrooms. Facilities:Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, satellite TV, DVD player. Garden Furniture and BBQ. A cot and highchair can be arranged if required.
Monet (The Cottage) - Sleeps 2-5 Delightful cottage with fitted kitchen, open plan dining and sitting area. Cosy and comfortable bedrooms (2) with exposed beams. Two bathrooms. Facilities:Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, satellite TV, DVD player. Garden Furniture and BBQ. A cot and highchair can be arranged if required.
Bed & Breakfast (Chambre d’Hote) Superb, light, airy rooms. Enjoy meals in the hand painted pink dining room or in the garden in summer. Relax by the pool or be energetic and enjoy one of the many attractions in the area. The Manor House serves a continental breakfast and can do evening meals on request.

 

Mauzac is part of the commune of Grand Castang but actually about 6 km away, on the Dordogne. It is a gorgeous river-side village with a couple of hotels and restaurants. The river is enjoyed by rowing and sail boats, it’s delightfully quiet and peaceful and incredibly beautiful.

Domaine des Blanches Colombes have recently bought a small river side cottage and renovated it into two luxury apartments for summer holiday rentals. Not suitable for children, the two apartments (one upstairs and the other downstairs) are perfect places to stay while enjoying a holiday in the Dordogne.

Cezanne - set on the river-front of the Dordogne, Cezanne is a delightful one bedroom (twin beds) apartment. On the ground floor, the cottage has an open plan kitchen/dining room with a spacious living room. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower. The apartment is fully equipped and decorated to an extremely high standard.
Outside is a small patio garden full of colourful pot plants, table and chairs and barbeque.

Transport – flying into Bergerac or Bordeaux? We can pick you up and drop you off or arrange car hire for you with competitive rates. Please mention this when you book.

Maid Service – if it’s a complete break you want, we can arrange for a daily maid to clean the rooms and make the beds, do the washing and ironing or even provide meals for you.

Towels - if you want to save on space in the suitcases, towels for the swimming pool can be hired.

Babysitting – if you want to pop out on your own, babysitting is available.

DVDs – we have over 300 DVDs for hire – there is something for everyone.

Tariff

 

 

Rates All our rates are quoted in Euros. All prices are applicable to the amount of people advertised. Any increase in the amount of people must be noted on the booking form and may be subject to an additional charge. The rental period is from 5.00pm on the day of arrival and to 9.30am on the day of departure.

Towels are charged extra at €5 per person per week. Sheet changes in a two week booking are included in the price but additional sheet changes are charged at €7 for a single and €13 euros for a double Goodie Baskets (include coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, jam, butter, yogurts, bottle of wine and fresh bread delivery, eggs, orange juice, mineral water) starts at €35 for two people.
