Delightful cottage in preserved countryside of Côtes d'Armor. Traditional “longère” (stone house) recently restored.

Near river and beautiful castle. Nice scenery, very quiet with private garden (900m²).

The cottage is ideally suited for family holidays, couples seeking a relaxing holiday or for those househunting in Brittany and is available all year round.

The terrace (south)and the garden are ideal for sitting out, sunbathing or enjoying a barbecue. There is also a place for children to play, and an inflatable swimming-pool is provided in the summertime (for you to maintain).

The cottage has a large ground floor with delightful oak beams and staircase to first floor.
The well-equipped kitchen has a gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing-machine. Plus kettle, toaster, coffee-maker, mixer… large dining table and chairs, a lot of room for storage.

The lounge has a fireplace, convertible sofa (130cm bed), armchairs, television and radio/stereo system.
Shower room with WC, all tiled, rather small but functional, with towel-dryer.

On the first floor are two bedrooms and a mezzanine floor used as a study/reading place
One double room with wood panelling called “Japanese bedroom”. Window with nice views (sunrise over the distant church spires), king-sized bed, charming decoration.

The second bedroom : one double bed, plus a sofa that turns into two single beds, two windows. Fashionable decoration.

The whole house was renovated in 2002 and 2003 with care, and complies with modern safety standards.
A cot and highchair are available on request.

A delightful cottage set in the beautiful countryside of Cotes d'Armor just 4 km outside the touristic little town of Pontrieux, its harbour, its architecture…with ample everyday amenities.

40 minutes to the west is the large town of St. Brieuc. Lovely little towns and harbours nearby: Paimpol, Treguier, Guingamp... Worth the visit too: the geographical curious phenomenons of “the sillon de Talbert”, and of the “pink granite coast”. Plus the famous Island of Brehat, the wild coast as well as the sandy beaches. A large variety of scenery, emphasized by the amplitude in the tides.

Nice area where the traditional culture of “Brittany” is really lively (food, local feasts, music and dance).
The cottage is situated in quiet countryside with excellent views over surrounding fields. Fishing in the river (3 mn walk) is free.

The “Chateau of La Roche Jagu” and its beautiful park (animations in the summer time) is only a 10mn’ walk away.
