Our 16th century farmhouse is situated in the heart of the Normandy countryside.
We have two double bedrooms both with en-suite facilities tastefully decorated.
A large garden surrounds the house where breakfast can be taken or in the Farmhouse Kitchen.
A 3 course evening meal is available by prior arrangement cooked by a qualified chef, with home grown produce, taken in the lounge in front of an impressive Granite fireplace or in the garden on warmer evenings.
Ideal for a short break or longer stay whether holidaying, house hunting or travelling further into France.
The quiet roads in the area are ideal for cycling or walking where there are spectacular views.
In the area there are good quality Golf courses and river fishing. Various local towns have markets on different days.
Ferrieres is a small village. Its neighbour Buais, has a restaurant and a bar. 5 minutes away is St. Hilaire du Harcouet which has a lively market on Wednesday, ample shopping, restaurants and bars.
It is only a short drive to Le Mont St. Michel with an impressive site as you approach. From here cross over to Brittany along the coast road to Cancale and then on to St. Malo with its old walled city.
A day out to the Cherbourg peninsular stopping at Granville with marina and harbour, then to Bayeux famous for its tapestry and Second World War museum.
For those needing retail therapy the cities of Caen and Rennes are close by.
