


The cottage is fully equipped with a washing machine, dish-washer, refrigerator/freezer and kitchen utensils.
We provide table tennis, badminton, boules and croquet. Within 4 km from a fresh water swimming lake and surrounded by vineyards and orchards this makes the cottage a wonderful place to relax. There is a riding school in the next door village for any level of expertise.
We provide, within your rent, basic starting things like milk, butter, bread, jam, new laid eggs, bottled water, fruit juice, a bottle of wine and tea and coffee. If you want more shopping done, we are glad to do it.

Linen provided £10 per person per week. We will stock the cottage with food for your arrival, on request. Bicycles, Ping-pong, badmington, boules, croquet provided. E-mail reception and transmission. CD/radio/tape on request. Baby sitter service. B&B is also available nearby. We accept the first deposit we receive as a firm booking. The remainder and plus a completed booking sheet is due 8 weeks before arrival.

Set amidst lavender and sun flower fields, the cottage is about 30 minutes from the old city of Cahors with its many restaurants and shops.
Montcuq is 7 km away with local shops, markets, with their delicious fresh vegetables, cheeses, fruits and flowers and typical cafés.
The cottage is on the edge of the appellation Cahors wines - wines known for their dark colour and strength.
There are caves to visit, boats for hire on the beautiful river Lot and picturesque villages and châteaux to be seen clinging to the cliffs. See too the Bastide towns perched on their hills; some were built by Richard Coeur de Lion when Aquitaine was English. Visit Moissac with its cloisters and unique tympanum.
Golf course open to visitors some 15km away. For those who like riding and horses, our daughter has a beautiful young mare - pehaps you will persuade her to let you ride her!
The cottage has been inspected and accepted by Alistair Sawday's 'Special Places to Stay'.
Do nothing OR Go on the river Lot from Cahors (boat near the Valentré Bridge). Go on the river Lot from Bouziès E. of Cahors (hire boats).
Pech Merle Caves nr Cabrerets. Visit the pretty village of St Cirq La Popie. Visit the theme park for children called Walabi near Agen Visit Moissac, cloisters and unique tympanum. Visit castles at Bonaguil and Biron. Visit the lavender farm near the cottage. Water skiing near Moissac on the Tarn/Garonne confluence.
The cottage was booked for the whole of summer 2001 & 2002 - May, June, July, August and September. Some winters the cottage was let on a long term basis. If you would like photo-copies of the comments in the visitor's book, we will send them!
