This extremely flexible accommodation is suitable for parties of all sizes. For 1 or 2 couples it is ideal, offering the ground floor and all the facilities - the upstairs rooms will be closed off and unoccupied. For larger groups the full accommodation is available plus all the facilities. The weekly rate will depend on the size of your party.
The farmhouse accommodation sleeps up to 8 in 4 bedrooms, the double and twin downstairs rooms have their own en suite shower rooms, the 2 upstairs bedrooms share a large bathroom with both bath and shower.
The farmhouse accommodation also sleeps up to 4 in 2 downstairs bedrooms, the double and twin rooms have their own en suite shower rooms.
A cot is available upon request.
The salon is comfortably furnished with sofas and armchairs, satellite TV, VCR, music centre, books, board games and fire for the cooler months.
The light and airy farmhouse kitchen has a pine table and chairs and a magnificent range of built-in wooden cupboards provides ample storage. The kitchen is very well equipped with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, dish washer, washing machine, microwave and food processor.
On the first floor there is a large open plan area with sofas and chairs, second TV, VCR and a good selection of board games - ideal for the children to get away from the parents!
The 10m x 5m heated swimming pool is totally enclosed to government specifications, cleaned daily and has a salt system.
Attached to the farmhouse there is a spacious gamesroom with a table tennis table and darts board. We also supply badminton, boules, a swing, paddling pool and sandpit for the little ones. There are 2 terraces well equipped with tables, chairs, umbrellas, sun loungers and barbecues.
The property has central heating for our out of season visitors.
Previously the farmhouse to a well-established vineyard, Le Roc Nord offers you sunshine, peace and historical countryside, also the opportunity to enjoy plenty of activities and superb food and wine. The farmhouse, which was meticulously renovated in 2002, is spacious and equipped to a very high standard that we ourselves would like to find when on holiday.
Le Roc Nord is situated in the Dordogne, mid way between Bergerac and
St.Emilion, 3kms north of Vélines and 16kms south of Montpon, on
the outskirts of the village St.Vivien.
St. Vivien is a delightful village in the middle of the Bergerac vineyards. The 12th Century church is the focal point in the village. There is also a village shop, hotel/restaurant and tennis court, all within a one-kilometre walk of Le Roc Nord. The wine co-operative selling excellent local wines at reasonable prices, starting at 3€20 per bottle is on the outskirts of the village.
At Lac de Gurson (6km) there is tennis, boating, riding, crazy golf, a water shoot, a large sandy beach and several bars and restaurants. Chateau des Vigiers’ 18-hole golf course is 25 minutes, canoeing on the Dordogne 15 minutes and a new leisure lake with hydrojets 10 minutes.
There is also an abundance of chateaux, fascinating Bastide towns, local markets and attractive villages to explore.
For wine lovers, we are situated in the heart of the Bergerac vineyards and immediately adjacent to Bordeaux – the finest wine growing area in the world. For example the medieval city of St.Emilion is a mere 20kms away - well worth a visit.
There is an excellent selection of restaurants within a short drive offering a wide choice of local and cordon bleu cuisine.
All prices are per week.

bathroom mats and towels and tea towels.
Please bring your own swimming towels.
If used, central heating will be charged at cost.
Short-term winter lets available from October to Easter please ask for rates.
