Welcome to a 42 acre wooded parkland which is the grounds of the Chateau de Lanniron.

The property is only 2 kilometres from the historic town of Quimper and just 10 minutes drive from local beaches at Benodet and Pont l'Abbe.

The Chateau de Lanniron is located on the edge of the river Odet and was the historic residence of the bishops of Cornouaille.

The location is ideal as a base for discovering Brittany with its numerous ancient monuments, places of interest and folklore.

Maison du Champ is a lovely stone cottage sleeping 2 adults in 1 large bed and 3 children in 2 smaller beds and a sofa in the living room.

The cottage is set in the peaceful grounds of the Chateau 100m from the main facilities.

Well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, garden furniture, barbecue grill, parasol etc.

Cornouailles offers a varied coastline with its breathtaking cliffs dominating the sea along the rugged coastline of the Cap, the innumerable south-facing sandy beaches along the gentle stretches of shore and many picturesque fishing ports. On the one hand, a landscape of rocks and water, granite and gulls, on the other, a view of coves and islands in the sun.

It is ideal for all water sports : deep-sea diving, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, angling ... The beauty of the coasts and the forests, traditions and legends... everything will invite you to come and marvel.. As for food connoisseurs, you will appreciate the variety and freshness of the fish and seafood landed every day in Cournouaille's harbours.

The Reception Desk can provide you with many ideas regarding the tourist routes and leisure cruises (sightseeing trip on the Odet, guided cruises to Glénan Islands, Sein Island...)

Quimper - a town full of flowers, is the capital of Cornouaille, and is on the banks of the River Odet, main river in the Glazik area, 15 km from the coast.

Quimper has a wealth of famous monuments, a cathedral and old quarters well worth visiting: Breton Museum. Fine Arts Museum. Contemporary Arts Center "Le Quartier". Earthenware Factories. The Jules Verlingue Earthenware Museum. The bishop's palace garden and theatre garden. Locamaria Norman church. Nearby : Kerfeunteun, chapels of Ty Mam Doué, Kerdévot, the Stangala, The River Steir valley.

Local Events "Festival de Cornouaille" (4th Sunday in July and throughout the previous week). Musical Weeks (1st three weeks in August). Brass instrument courses (end of August). Folklore evenings (every Thursday from end of June to beginning of September). The Odet River Lugger (on the Locamaria Allées quayside). River and sea trips. Cider cellar visits : tasting and sales direct from the vintner.

Arrival on Saturday after 5pm and depart Saturday by 10am. A deposit of €151 per week + €19 for booking expenses to accompany reservation form. Balance payable 42 days prior to arrival.
