Bellegarde du Razes is a small hill top village with extensive views of the surrounding countryside, just half an hours drive from Carcassonne airport.
On the west of the village, our recently converted holiday cottage offers two bedrooms, one double and another with two beds suitable for older children or teenagers, living room, kitchen and bathroom.
Converted from one of the former winemaking buildings in the village. The large wine cuves or stores on the lower ground floor have been converted, one into a bunk bedroom and the other now houses the staircase down from the main living area.
The main living area consists of a large through room with a kitchen, dining area and a lounge which extends out onto a spacious balcony with stunning views (countryside, Pyrenees and sunsets). The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave with grill and rôtisserie, and a mixed energy hob (3 gas, 1 electric) with extractor hood.
Upstairs are the main double bedroom and the bathroom. There is a washing machine and for those out of season visits the house has electric heating and is fully double glazed.
Outside there is a terrace and a small garden with a barbecue area.
The cottage is well equipped for holidays and breaks all year round.
