Stay in our traditional Normandy timbered cottage which dates back to
1780 and is surrounded by a pretty orchard overlooking fields - a peaceful
and rural location.
The cottage of La Pommeraie
lies on the outskirts of the small village of Etalleville in an area known
as the Pays de Caux.
This region is not only
famous for its cream and apples but the local town of Doudeville is known
as the capital of the linen producing region of the Seine Maritime region
of Normandy.
When the apple trees are
in blossom in May or the flax is in bloom in June - the countryside is
awash with colour.
The cottage is perfectly
located for the ferry ports which mean it is an ideal stopping off point
on your journey further into France.
It is a perfect central
point for a stay in the Haute Normande region of France enabling you to
easily visit all the sites in the area.
