The ground floor consists of a large living room with wood burning stove. TV/Video system and Compact disc player are available for use .
There is a study which is equipped with a large selection of board games / videos.
A large traditional kitchen with additional multi fuel stove and dining table with seating for 10 people, utility and downstairs bathroom.
The kitchen and utility rooms are fully equipped with large 5 ring
gas cooker, fridge / freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. There
is also a picnic hamper to enable full enjoyment of the surrounding
countryside.
Upstairs there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
There is a large family suite consisting of two separate but adjoining
rooms, the main bedroom features a king size bed and the second room
has twin single beds. There is a large amount of storage space provided
by a built in wardrobe that spans the length of one wall.
There is a further single bedroom and a double bedroom with vanity
unit located on the opposite side of the landing.
All bedrooms have windows with shutters and enjoy views over the surrounding
countryside.
There are two toilets and shower rooms on this floor.

La Bignonniere is a large farmhouse situated in the Vendee region of France.
The house is set in a peaceful location in the countryside with beautiful views over the valleys, yet only 5 minutes from local amenities.
Approximately 2 and a half hours drive from St Malo or 1 hour from Nantes Airport. La Bignonniere is ideally located between two major theme parks – Futuroscope in Poitiers and Le Puy Du Fou only 25kms which boasts Europes largest illuminated display.
The house easily sleeps 7 plus a travel cot . The house is full of character
and has been lovingly restored to incorporate all original features and
has exposed beams throughout.
There is a large garden to the rear with a built in chimney style barbecue and secluded seating area, there is additional bench seating in the courtyard at the front of the house. The farmhouse benefits from the sun all day long due to the different areas of seating and is perfect for al fresco dining.
There is a large enclosed grass area across from the house where a washing
line is available for guests.
There is an outdoor shed which houses the logs for the fire. This can also be used for storage for any extras you may bring such as bikes.
There is ample parking for 3 cars.
All bed linen and towels are provided for the number of people booked including tea towels. Guests must provide linen and bedding for the travel cot.
